Accommodations
The wedding venue, Villa Bokeh is located about a 5- minute drive from the central park, and wedding day transportation will be provided by the couple. Airbnb’s are very popular, as well as hotels. Please see some recommendations below.

Antigua is a charming and compact city, measuring just 8 streets by 8 streets, making it incredibly walkable and easy to navigate. This layout allows you to effortlessly explore shops, restaurants, cafes, markets, and various hotels on foot. From one end to the other is about a 15-20 minute walk. For those looking to venture further, Uber is readily available, though you’ll rarely need it given the city’s walkability. Additionally, you can hop into one of the many tuk-tuks zipping around for a quick and fun way to get around.
Transportation
Once you have arranged your flights, feel free to email or contact Niki by phone to help arrange it. We use a trusted company in Guatemala called Columbus Guatemala Travel, who will be there for your pick up from the airport, and drop off.
Antigua is located about 45 minutes from the airport. The main airport to fly into is La Aurora International Airport.

When he brought Niki to Guatemala for the first time, she instantly fell in love with the country’s vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and warm-hearted people. Together, they discovered the charm and beauty of Antigua, making it the perfect setting for their wedding celebration. Fun Fact: The first time Niki and David went to visit Villa Bokeh, Niki always said Villa Bokeh would be her dream wedding venue!

Santa Catalina Arch

5a Avenida Norte 28, Antigua Guatemala
The Santa Catalina Arch is one of the distinguishable landmarks in Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala, located on 5th Avenue North. Built in the 17th century, it originally connected the Santa Catalina convent to a school, allowing the cloistered nuns to pass from one building to the other without going out on the street. A clock on top was added in the era of the Central American Federation, in the 1830s.

Cerro de La Cruz

Cerro de la Cruz is located on the north side of Antigua. Walk along 1A Avenida until you reach the base of the hill where a sign marks the trailhead.
Cerro de la Cruz is a lush hill on the northern edge of Antigua marked by a massive stone cross. From a scenic overlook, enjoy expansive views of the city’s grid of pretty terracotta rooftops laid out at the base of the magnificent Volcán de Agua.
Ek Chuah

A Guatemalan family owned chocolate museum that teach different types of workshops for making chocolate. Guatemala is one of the largest chocolate exporter’s in the world!
You can participate in the chocolate workshop, teaching you about the history of the cacao plant in Guatemala, how chocolate was discovered by the Mayan community, and the production process. You also get to make your own chocolate treats!
